
Direct billing allows us to submit your insurance claim directly to your provider at the time of your session, so you do not have to submit receipts manually. Whether a claim is approved depends on your individual plan and provider. Please note that not all insurance providers are supported through the TELUS eClaims system, and coverage varies by plan.
Direct billing is available for sessions with Simar & Lenore only. For sessions with our associate therapists— payment is collected by credit card at the time of your session. A receipt will be provided automatically, which you can submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement if your plan includes coverage for psychotherapy services.
Direct billing is not available for Canada Life; clients are provided with receipts to submit for reimbursement.
Clients are encouraged to log into their Insightful Journey client portal and add their insurance information to their profile before their next session.
If you prefer, you are welcome to bring your insurance details to your appointment and we can assist you at that time. Please note that if this is done during a session, a portion of your appointment time may be used to complete the process.
