A focused, 75-minute session designed to support meaningful change—starting today.
Psychoeducational Sessions are one-topic learning sessions for individuals ages 12 and up who want clarity, understanding, and practical tools around a specific emotional or life challenge.
Topics are pre-designed by Simar Gill Lowther, RP, and clients can choose from a curated list of session topics based on what feels most relevant to their current needs.
Rather than covering multiple concerns in one meeting, each psychoeducational session centers on one defined topic, allowing time to understand how a specific concern influences thought patterns, emotional responses, and behaviour, and what can help. These psychoeducational therapy sessions focus on education, emotional understanding, and skill-building, without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Each psychoeducational session is intentionally designed to go deeper than standard therapy sessions by:
Staying with one emotional theme
This allows us to slow down, explore what’s underneath the struggle, and understand the patterns that keep you stuck, rather than jumping between issues.
Combining learning and real-time practice
You are not just talking. You are learning, practicing, and integrating tools during the 75-minute session.
Using an evidence-based, layered approach
Each session blends cognitive tools, emotional insight, nervous system calming, and mindset shifts (including CBT, ACT, and mindfulness-based strategies) so the process feels integrated and grounded.
Offering a complete mini-program in one sitting
You leave with practical tools, clarity, and a structured plan, rather than loose ideas to figure out on your own.
Psychoeducational Sessions for Individuals (Ages 12+) are ideal for those who are:
You do not need long-term therapy to benefit. These sessions are designed to stand alone, with ongoing support available if you choose to deepen the process.
